What is Nau·Lab?
Nau·Lab is a yacht design academy and Rhino plugin studio — we teach yacht design the way we actually practice it, and we build the Rhino tools that make that practice faster.
What is Nau·Lab Courses?
Structured training packages drawn from real Nau·Lab projects — exterior design, interior atelier work, and visualization — taught the way we actually practice them, not generic theory.
Do I need prior experience to take a course?
There’s no fixed prerequisite — packages range from foundational to advanced, and each course description lists what it covers so you can pick the right starting point.
How do I enroll, and how does payment work?
Create a free account, then enroll in a package from the Academy page. A member of our team will follow up directly with next steps and payment details.
What does the Nau·Lab Rhino Plugin do?
It assigns materials to every layer in your Rhino model in one click — or only to the layers you pick — with seven material types, from solid colour to glass, metal, and textured surfaces. It also adds stitching detail along curves in four styles, and generates stairs between two surfaces.
Which Rhino versions does the plugin support?
Rhino 7 and Rhino 8 on Windows.
How do I buy a license and activate it?
Send a purchase request through the Contact page — you’ll receive payment instructions by email. Once payment is confirmed, we email you a license key. Enter it on the download page, install the plugin, and run the SetLicense command once inside Rhino.
Do plugin licenses include updates?
Yes — every license includes free updates to the plugin for as long as the license stays active.
What if the plugin isn’t working or I found a bug?
Contact us through the Contact page with your license key and a description of the issue, and we’ll get back to you within two working days.
What is the Community for?
An open discussion space for Academy students and plugin users — ask questions, share feedback, and get help from the team or other members. Any signed-in member can post; images and links inside posts are visible to signed-in members only.
What’s the referral code for?
Every member gets a personal referral code from their account page. Share it with friends — when they sign up using it, it’s recorded against your name in our records.
